How do we measure thinking functions in people with brain damage?

Rudolf Ponds, professor of medical psychology

In the clinic, we measure think functions like memory, attention and perception with different tests. Such functions can be disrupted by damage to the brain. Experience yourself what it means when you can no longer rely on the functioning of your brain. Experience how your attention decreases when you try to do two things at once and how difficult it is to draw from a model through a mirror.
