Twente, Netherlands, Europe ... 't Stroat Ensemble from Oldenzaal is a 25-member festive big band that has been making the merriest and most beautiful music everywhere for 40 years. The goal is always the same: to build a party atmosphere as friends with swinging music and spontaneous jokes. From Ghent to Berlin, from Edinburgh to Dieren or from Rome to Amsterdam; wherever the beautiful tour bus (also called the pub on wheels) drives by, something particularly festive is about to happen. Nimble saxophonists, nimble trumpeters, nimble trombonists, a highly experienced double bassist and a pack of percussionists make the music requested and unrequested under any circumstances.
