Joren De Cooman

A short participatory circus performance, in which audience and artists work together as a collective group. A participatory piece of choreography gives rise to a web of cords with one person at the end of each cord. The audience evolves from single individuals into a collective body that works together. With this as the basis, Joren De Cooman uses the web as circus apparatus. The audience catapults him in the air and catches him again – hopefully. Together, in a fun way, they thus form a circus collective.
