Cartoons are an important part of an open debate, both questioning old ideas and introducing new ones. As a prelude to the presentation of the European Cartoon Award 2022, a panel of internationally recognised journalists and cartoonists reflect on the polarised political climate in Europe, and how cartoonists relate to it. The panel includes Janet Anderson (journalist), Jen Sorensen (cartoonist) and Catherine André (journalist & co-founder of Voxeurope).
