Evidence in Vice Cases: What’s the Problem?

Many vice cases remain ‘on the shelf’ and when it does come to a criminal trial, the judgement is certainly not a matter of course. While probably unacceptable from a social point of view, from a judicial perspective it is understandable, considering the rules of evidence to which the criminal judge is bound.
